Camagüey, Cuba, October 9th.- With the aim of recognizing their work, as well as their contribution to the economy, the Camagüey Meat Company developed, within the framework of the Innovator’s Day, an event for creative women.

Based at the Empacadora Raúl Cepero Bonilla Base Business Unit (UEB, Spanish Acronym), the meeting brought together a group of women who showed varieties of food, manual and cultural arts, as well as technological elements designed by them.

Although the idea was to reward the most creative, as Loraine Guerrero Navas, secretary of the center’s union bureau, explained, the meeting was vital “to show how useful women are in solving difficulties that affect economic development.

But also, to make clear how important we are to society and show that we are much more than what some still think; “We are creators”.
