Camagüey, Cuba, Sep 4th.- The progress of the different tasks that are directed to achieve a better performance of the 114 existing farms in the so-called green ring of the capital of Camagüey were evaluated by political and administrative authorities of the province and the main municipality.
In the meeting, compliance and progress of actions such as updating the documentation that has to do with the name of the producers and the behavior of the parameters to declare the farms ready were checked.
Likewise, the strategy for the chapea and preparation of land in each section of the beltway was presented, in addition to the delivery of seeds and other resources, such as wire for fencing and blocks and cement for the assembly of the organoponico located in El Faisán.
They also visited the farms of outstanding peasants such as Jorge Viera Manso and Camilo Mendoza González, associated with the Renato Guitar Credit and Services Cooperative, who have great prospects for the current cold planting campaign.
In the same way, the sponsorship that all farmers located around the main city will have was defined by the different entities of the territory, which assume the mission of supporting them for the materialization of their commitments.
Yoandry Ruiz Villalón, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and its first secretary in the municipality of Camagüey, called to fulfill all the tasks related to the development of the green belt of the city, which will contribute to increase food production.
