Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 13th.- After more than a year as a subsidiary of Copextel Camagüey, the group from Camagüey reaches its 28th anniversary today, coinciding with the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Alex Rodríguez Gregorich, general manager, assured that «since its constitution on June 1st 2022 as a subsidiary, the entity is consolidated in the financial statements, seeks and manages its own assets and achieves greater organizational capacity, although it does not escape technological limitations and infrastructure”.
This responds to measures adopted to perfect the work system and comply with the plan of 62 million pesos for sales and services, where sustainability is an imperative in the face of the exodus of personnel and the lack of supplies.
The manager, with more than 20 years of experience and heir to the knowledge of Ciro Muro, founder of the then territorial division, pointed out the importance of productive linkages with the new economic actors, with whom they work uninterruptedly in the intensive and intermediate therapies of the Doctor Eduardo Agramonte Piña Provincial Pediatric Hospital, in the provincial capital.
He also said that the vital programs of the demarcation continue to be prioritized, fundamentally the health and education sectors, in which the attention to climates, the recovery of computers and the work at the Máximo Gómez Báez Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences stand out.
The energy saving program does not stop, said the manager, and in the last year the assembly of more than 100 isolated photovoltaic systems was achieved for several peasants in the municipalities of Minas and Nuevitas, mainly, in conjunction with the Union Eléctrica.
Rodríguez Gregorich said that «this August 13th, the first part of the 70-kilowatt photovoltaic system project for grid injection in the entity will be in operation, which will cover the energy demand of the collective and contribute to the national electro-energy system.»
As of today, it generates around 40 kilowatts and is expected to operate at full capacity on December 31st of this year, and to add to the existing one in the workshop known as El Martillo, on General Gómez street, at the corner with Lugareño street, in the provincial capital.
Among the projections, the Cayo Cruz building with 23 kilowatts of photovoltaic energy stands out, a property that plans to become a reference unit.
The manager assured that the strategic alliance with the tourism sector has increased in recent years with a commitment to the technological system of that pole in the north of the province, where work is carried out on average in seven systems, while maintaining commitments with the Nuevitas cement factory.
