Havana, 23 Sep.- The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero, today congratulated the military schools Camilo Cienfuegos for the 56th anniversary of its creation.
Through his Twitter account, the head of government considered these academies as «glorious quarries of the Revolutionary Armed Forces,» which arose from the initiative of Revolution leader Raúl Castro.
According to the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the Camilo Cienfuegos military schools were created with the purpose of contributing to the education of the children of the martyrs and fighters of the Rebel Army.
Admission to these institutes is selective and the study programmes offered are similar to those of the Ministry of Education for upper secondary education, adapted to the specific and vocational interests of military life. (Text and photo: PL)
